The Wedding Singer
I have decide to add another category to my blog and this one is for movie music, what better topic for my first article in this new category than one of my favorite soundtracks of all time The wedding singer. This movie is pure gold as far as music goes , it is filled with great tracks from the 80’s as well as versions done by the actors themselves. You have Adam Sandler doing a few like Love Stinks , You spin right round by Dead or alive and my favorite Holiday by Madonna as well as Alexis Arquette doing Do you really want to hurt me by Boy George, Jon Lovitz with Ladies Night and of course Steve Buscemi and his interpretation of True by Spandau Ballet . Perhaps it is that I am after all a child of the 80’s but this movie I think is filled with hits and memories for all to enjoy , young and old, for us it is memories and for the younger generation it allowed them to discover some great tracks. The wedding singer also had a few guest cameos from 80’s stars such as the singer from After the Fire playing the perverted chef and Billy Idol as himself not to neglect the oh so hit fashions that came with it. Anyway you slice it this was and is a great movie filled with great music for all to enjoy I will add a few snippets of the movie for you as I usually do and hopefully it will make you want to go out and add this movie and it’s killer soundtrack to you media collection but before I do so here is the full list of tracks from the movie.
